Cranberry Oat Slice

This Cranberry Oat Slice (also known as ‘Flapjacks’) are the perfect accompaniment to a cup of tea. We have been smashing the hot beverages of late due to all the wet and miserable weather here in Grenoble. Enjoy this super easy clean treat.
CRANBERRY OAT SLICE
Makes 16
Ingredients:
500g oats
200g almond butter
100ml honey
150g butter (or coconut oil), melted
1/2 tsp cinnamon
200g dried cranberries
Method:
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Line a brownie baking tray with baking paper.
Place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well until combined.
Spread evenly into the baking tray and press down firmly.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before using the baking paper to life out the slice onto a chopping board. Cut into squares.
Thermomix Instructions:
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Line a brownie baking tray with baking paper.
Place all ingredients into the mixing bowl and set to 10 secs/speed 7 (reverse enabled) until combined. Scrape down the sides with the spatular and set again to 7 secs/speed 7 (reverse enabled).
Spread evenly into the baking tray and press down firmly.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before using the baking paper to life out the slice onto a chopping board. Cut into squares.
