This Chocolate Mousse recipe is one of my all time favourite desserts and is even great as just a snack. It has a beautiful light texture and a rich chocolate flavour. You would never even know that avocado is one of the main ingredients!
1 small ripe banana
1 small avocado (ideally kept in fridge for at least 2 hours prior)
3 tbsp coconut cream (ideally kept in fridge for at least 2 hours prior)
3 heaped tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp honey or rice malt syrup (optional)
Fresh or frozen (defrosted) berries and cacao nibs to serve
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until a smooth consistency.
Scrape mousse into a glass and top with the berries and cacao nibs.
